Epimedium "eh-pi-mead'ee-um" Barrenwort Best in part sun or shade, but will survive full sun or dry shade even under Maples. Very choice ground cover with shiny heart-shaped semi-evergreen leaves on wiry stems. Myriads of four-pointed star-shaped flowers.

perralchicum 'Frohnleiten' - 12". An airy pyramid of small yellow flowers. Spring. youngianum 'Niveum' - 6". Serrated foliage glows crimson in spring and fall with clear white flowers in May. 'Amber Queen' - Larger flowers in a soft coral over heart shaped leaves. 'Rubrum' - Dense, heart shaped green foliage tinged red in early Spring & Fall with 10-12" stems of crimson flowers in April - May.
