Tiarella "tee-ah-rel'lah" Allegheny Semi-shade. Foliage somewhat resembles Piggyback plant (Tolmiea menziesii). Erect slender spikes of fuzzy star-shape flowers. Best in moist, cool, humusy soil. Beautiful in large drifts around trees or large rocks. Lovely with ferns, primroses and late daffodils.
