Multi stem, single available. Showy white bracts in June 2-3 weeks after C. florida that last for 6 weeks or longer. Exfoliating bark on older trees makes mottled pattern of grey, brown, and tan. Red fruit in fall. 

Culture: Moist, well-drained, acid soil.No disease problems. More drought resistant than C. florida.
Ultimate size/shape: 25'. Of a more upright habit than Cornus florida.
