It's July and Sprainbrook Nursery is stocked full with great plants. Flats of young annuals are just coming into bloom. Looking particularly good now are the warm weather crops: Cosmos, Celosia, Zinnia, Melampodium, and much more. The 4 1/2 inch plants, which fill House 1 continue to provide superior color and dramatic contrasting foliage for combination planting. We grow 2 year old 3 gallon perennials. . We carry a full selection of Perennials throughout the growing season. As long as you keep watering, July is a great time to plant a perennial garden. The Nursery out back is filled with beautiful specimen evergreens, trees and shrubs, most of which are containerized and can be planted safely throughout the month. Our Garden Center is equipped with all the supplies that any gardener might need. We carry only the best tools as Westchester soils are difficult to work. We specialize in helping you with your watering needs and carry a wide assortment of items to accomplish and mechanize this task.
