Spring is coming

A diligent work force has already produced an exceptional crop of unusual vegetatively propagated annuals. Our process is labor intensive. We use peat pots for our flat production which need to be hand filled with our rich organic soil. Microbes have been added to our soils making for a stronger plant. These plants will take off once planted in your garden. Our selection of superior varieties will make for a greater display of color. Most annual plants are grown in 3" peat pots and take twice as long to grow but produce a larger, more mature plant. We pride ourselves in growing a superior crop of annuals. Our Nursery is filled with beautiful stock. Specimen Nursery stock is scarce in the market place, so come in early to reserve your favorite plants. The perennials are uncovered and the plants ready for sale. Although we grow most of our perennials, we do round out our selection by bringing in varieties that we were not able to grow or propagate. Our selection of perennials is great and if you order early we can bring in special varieties we do not carry. Our Garden Center is stocked with high quality garden products. We have learned through the years to stock the products you prefer. Tough Westchester soils require a high quality tool; so visit our garden section for tools that will last.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN - Contact us early for your landscape needs. During the month of March we offer free landscape design. From concept to construction, SPRAINBROOK Nursery will create a landscape environment that is both beautiful and functional, adding greater value to your property. Our landscape designers will meet with you to determine your needs and how they may be expressed in a landscape design. We can renovate existing plantings or create a perennial garden, a new entry way, patio, pool planting, deck or complete landscape make-over. Our experienced crews of landscape constructors will implement the new design. Spring is always a busy time of the year. We schedule our jobs on a first come basis. Planning should take place early so call for an appointment now

LECTURE ON LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Saturday March 3rd from 10:00am to Noon

Here is a topic we can all benefit from. Landscape design is a process of fulfilling your needs, solving your problems, developing your tastes, broadening your choices and adding beauty to your property. Care must be given to the cultural requirements of the plants, the ultimate size and their aesthetic arrangement. Steve has some great before and after shots of jobs he has done. Curving lines and colorful foreground plantings bring nature back into our properties. It is up to the designer to soften the harsh lines of man- made structures. . Hope you have a chance to attend our Landscape Design Lecture. It will open your mind to some great solutions.
