Delphinium
"del-fin'ee-um"
Sun, moist soil and fertile soil. Grown as annuals as they are short lived perennials and do not like summer heat. Their brittle stems often need staking.

'Belladonna' - 23-30". Sky blue. 
'Blue Springs' - 30". Blue and lavender florets.*  
GIANT PACIFIC TYPES - Up to 72". Noted for tall, stately flower spike. Needs staking. Blooms in June and possibly again in September if first flowers are cut early. Heavy feeders.  
'Black Knight' - 60". Dark blue.* 
'Blue Bird' - 60".Clear-blue. White bee.*  
'Cameliard' - 6' stalks bear lavender blue florets in June - July.
'Casablanca' - 60".Single white.*  
'Clear Springs' - 60". Mixed with white bees.*  
'Gallahad' - 60".White with white bee.*  
'King Arthur' - 60". Dark violet-blue.*  
'Magic Lilac Rose' - 30-36" stem. Lilac rose flowers have white bees.
'Pagan Purples' - Dark blue-purple spires. Summer
'Summer Skies' - 60". Light blue. 
'Sunny Skies' - Light sky blue to mid-blue flowers with white bee. Double or semi-double. 4-6'. Late Summer - early Fall.
* Available in 3 1/2" plastic pots early in season. Later in season 3-5 gallons.
